Nijmegen 2018 - November Training March

Last weekend saw Cadet Gaishun and Cadet Thurston complete their second training march for Nijmegen 2018 alongside the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshires Wing Nijmegen Team.

The day consisted of a 17 mile march from 73 (Huntingdon) Squadron Headquarters to Grafham Water and back.

The weather held up nicely despite the day starting out with some rain - thankfully it wasn't too cold despite it being a November morning!

Cadet Gaishun said: “The walk itself gave us a nice view of the reservoir which was much nicer than the muddy fields that we walked through in the first training march back in October.

The next march is scheduled for the start of December and should be 25 miles, Cadet Thurston and I are both looking forward to it!”
